The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a financing from
the Islamic Development Bank [IsDB] toward the cost of the Kano State
Agricultural Development Project [KSADP], and intends to apply part of the
proceeds for the procurement of Design and Supervision consultant for the
construction of 70km Feeder Roads in the three (3) Senatorial Districts of Kano
State.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Paragraphs, 1.23, and 1.24 of the
Guidelines for Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank
Project Financing (the “Procurement Guidelines”), setting forth IsDB’s policy on
conflict of interest.
The services include Design and supervision for construction of 70km Feeder
Roads in the three (3) Senatorial Districts of Kano State. Please refer to the
General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the Daily Trust
newspaper of the 17 th July, 2019, Punch newspaper of the 18 th July, 2019 and the
London based Economist on the 27 th July, 2019.

The Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA) now
invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified
to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience
in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

● The shortlisting criteria are: Core business, Relevant experience and skill in
facilitation and coordination of similar projects as well as technical and
managerial capability of the firm.
Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but
should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of joint-venture
and/or sub consultancies. In the case of a joint venture, all partners in the joint
venture should be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost based
Selection (QCBS) procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants
under Islamic Development Bank Financing (April 2019 edition).

office hours 0900hours to 1600hours [GMT + 1] local time.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in
person, or by mail) on/or before 23 rd August 2021 by 1200Hrs.
